Service Description
Students will work on a variety of different projects while exploring wheel throwing and different hand building techniques and surface decoration styles including pinch pots, slab building, sculptural techniques and coiling. We will also explore how to decorate surfaces of clay using a range of finishes like glazes, oxides, slips, underglazes, textures and more. Class is suitable for 12-16 year olds. NB: Teens class includes: • Expert teaching from our highly experienced tutors. • Your own 10kg bag of midfire clay • Use of our studio pottery wheels and tools • All decorating, firing and glazing of your 10kg bag of clay. • Any extra clay, materials, firing and glazing will attract additional charges.
