In 2014, having recently moved to Beaumaris, Nicky was searching for a creative community and joined Jill Andersons Ceramics class.

“I had always wanted to have a go at ceramics.  Jill is a great teacher and allows me to get messy with the clay.  I always look forward to learning new techniques and being around like-minded people”. 

Returning to classes post covid Nicky responded to the committee's search for a Coordinator.  Owner of Flo Digital a Creative Small Business Consultancy since 2019 Nicky works part-time at Beaumaris Art Group as our Coordinator and enjoys welcoming new and existing members to the group. 

Cate coordinates BAG's program of classes, workshops and coordinates all marketing, web and social media. She brings decades of experience in marketing, advertising copywriting and business strategy to BAG, along with a lifelong interest in art, architecture and design. Cate gained an Honours Degree in Visual Arts at Monash University. Her mother was also a Year 12 secondary school art teacher, so creativity was always encouraged and valued. Cate works part-time at BAG and loves attending classes and Ceramics Access sessions.
