About the event
Curious about ceramics but not sure where to start? This hands-on workshop is the perfect introduction to the art of wheel throwing. Designed for complete beginners, you’ll learn the basics of working with clay on the pottery wheel in a relaxed and supportive environment.
With expert guidance from your tutor, you’ll get a feel for the materials, try your hand at shaping forms, and have fun discovering a new skill—no experience needed! All materials supplied.
Just a heads-up! Our workshop doesn't cover the firing process, but if you decide to join us for a term class, you can bring them along for firing then.
Tutor: Linda Rudman - a highly experienced ceramicist and teacher with a particular love for creating signature vessels.
