CHARACTER CREATION. Ages 6-12

Create your own character illustration in a workshop that encourages imaginative drawing.  The workshop will begin with step-by-step guidance on how to draw a basic character figure.  Kids can then accessorise the figure drawing, developing them into a character that tells a story.  We’ll discuss the use of background and foreground to create a world for the character to be part of. Using pencils, we’ll then bring our characters to life through adding layers of colour. Tutor: Angharad Neal-Williams is an Illustrator, graphic recorder and designer based in Naarm/Melbourne.
