About the event
Join abstract painter Charlotte Ivey in this deep dive into expressive brushwork. We'll look at using action, brush, and paint to portray a sense of captured movement. We’ll play with speed and some experimental gestural techniques that bring moments of chance and spontaneity to your work. Simple compositional and colour palette frameworks will be provided to allow for a focus on brushwork, however those who are more confident will be free to explore their own compositions and build on complexity. All materials supplied.
