About the event
In this session, we will use the sensuous medium of ink to create a series of expressive portraits. Participants will be provided with black and white photographic images which will serve as springboards for personal expression. You will be guided through a series of exercises which will help you to loosen up and bypass your inner critic, resulting in greater confidence in your innate creativity.
Suitable for all levels. Materials provided.
Tutor: Susie Raz
Susie is a self-taught artist. She began to sell her works and exhibit when she was in her 50’s. Her art evolved while spending a number of years painting in a beautiful stable repurposed as a studio in Kangaroo Ground in the Yarra Valley. In this quiet location she developed her current practice. Susie now paints from her studio in Glen Iris where she continues to explore, experiment and learn.
