This 2 hour workshop will explore the themes of the ocean. We will observe & study shapes of Ricketts Point Marine Sanctuary fish and sea shells and will incorporate our observations into our seascape drawings.

About the event
Suitable for children aged 8-12 years. This 2 hour workshop will explore the themes of the ocean. We will observe and study shapes of Ricketts Point Marine Sanctuary fish and sea shells and will incorporate our observations into our seascape drawings. Suitable for children from primary to early teens. Bring your favourite sea shells or found objects from the beach.
Brigita Lastauskaite is a Lithuanian-born Australian artist, based in Melbourne since 1998. She holds a Master degree of Fine Art at the Vilnius Art Academy in Lithuania and was a recipient of a scholarship at the International Summer Academy in Salzburg (Austria). She is a finalist at the Hutchings, Fisher’s Ghost, Blacktown & Omnia Art Awards and received the Art Residencies in Finland and Lithuania.
