About the event
In this project, we focus on mastering the use of Winter-inspired colours while exploring a unique portrait style. The background is a canvas painted with colours inspired by the Winter season. Over this rich yet subtle backdrop, the portrait itself is rendered in bold black lines and spots, creating a stark contrast that captures the viewer’s attention.The minimalist approach to the portrait emphasizes the contours and features in a simple, impactful way, contrasting beautifully against the colorful background.. Suitable for children aged 8-12 years.
Tutor: Yana Fidan, a highly experienced and ongoing tutor of kids classes at the Beaumaris Art Group. Yana has a Masters in Animation, Games, and Interactivity at RMIT University.
Feel free to bring a drink / an allergy sensitive snack. No nuts or eggs please. Please note that we do not provide a child-minding service in between morning and afternoon sessions.
