KIDS WORKSHOP | Stylised portrait 8-12 years

 In this project, we focus on mastering the use of Spring-inspired colours while exploring a unique portrait style. The background is a canvas painted with colours inspired by the Spring season. Over this rich yet subtle  backdrop, the portrait itself is rendered in bold black lines and spots, creating a stark contrast that captures the viewer’s attention.The minimalist approach to the portrait emphasizes the contours and features in a simple, impactful way, contrasting beautifully against the colorful background.. Suitable for children aged 8-12 years. 

Tutor: Yana Fidan, a highly experienced and ongoing tutor of kids classes at the Beaumaris Art Group. Yana has a Masters in Animation, Games, and Interactivity at RMIT University.
