ROBIN BOYD HOUSE TOUR - Walsh Street and the Art World

The Robin Boyd Foundation are the custodians of Robin Boyd's family home (known as the Walsh Street House) in South Yarra. Since 2005, the Foundation has maintained and managed the house as a living house museum, which is internationally recognised as a unique and iconic expression of mid-century architecture.

The Walsh Street and the Art World tour includes a presentation tracing the Boyd family lineage, from convict arrivals, to brewing fortunes and forging artistic communities. This multi-generational legacy led the Boyd's to be recognised as Australia's foremost artistic dynasty. Foundation volunteers share the stories behind the esteemed art collection of Robin and Patricia Boyd, and the artists they befriended and supported.

This bespoke tour includes morning tea and the opportunity to experience the house & its collection. Photography permitted and welcome.

Prior to your visit, please note:

• Attendees must be 16 years and over.
• No external food or drink permitted.
• Large bags and backpacks will need to be checked in at entry.
• Stiletto or pointed heels are not permitted due to our cork flooring.
• Tickets can be exchanged, as long as the purchaser advises us of the attendee name.
