Join us for a very special visit to the locally-based studio of painter and sculptor, Pam Wragg, one of Beaumaris Art Group's 'Originals'. Pam will lead a tour of her sculpture-filled garden and studio.

About the event

"My paintings and sculptures are about relationships, and the interaction of various elements to the whole. I especially value colour and its important spatial properties.” This interplay has driven a chain of dynamic and formal investigations in Wragg’s work since the mid-1970s. Always open to possibility, today her practice moves between strong statements on canvas, with welded steel, bronze and marble to the immediacy of ceramics, collage and photomontage.


One of our treasured Original members, Pam has kindly agreed  to open her Beaumaris home and studio to our members and friends. Pam has exhibited widely, including the Triennial at the National Gallery of Victoria, Christine Abrahams Gallery and more. Following the studio and garden tour,  visitors will enjoy a glass of wine or coffee/tea and nibbles and have the opportunity to sketch in her beautiful garden, dotted with sculptures and quiet meandering spaces. Bring a sketchbook and charcoal, pencils or anything yo…
