Service Description

Tutored life drawing studio with short and long poses for those keen to develop confidence and critical observation. Topics to be explored: understanding of anatomy using the skeleton, measurement and analysis of the human form, design dynamics (line, shape, weight, balance, structure and composition), tonal values, surface form, movement, and suggestion. We will investigate materials and techniques as well as the creative working methods of other artists. Adult class (18+). Tutor: Poppi O'Connor. Please see recommended list below. ... STUDENTS MUST SUPPLY THEIR OWN MATERIALS. Students will require the following: 1. A range of soft charcoal. ( medium - dark ) 2. A selection of pencils. 2B - 8B 3. Kneadable & white erasers. 4. 2 x Bulldog clips with name on them. 5. Fixative. 6. Soft cloth. All items should be clearly named to ensure their safe return if left behind in the studio.
